We had a great and short week! We were lucky to have the Class Parents come in for a party on Wednesday. We celebrated Thanksgiving a little early with bagels and chips and salsa. We made turkeys to show what we're thankful for and played a game. Thank you for an awesome party, Class Parents! In Reading, we read a little of Skinnybones and a bit more of Black Stallion at the Listening Center. Alex from Skinnybones and Alec from the Black Stallion are very different characters! In Writing, we continued to work on our Realistic Fiction pieces and learned about subjects and predicates in Grammar. In Math, we practiced ordering fractions. In Science, we learned about the different types of clouds. We learned about the West Region of the United States in Social Studies. We finished learning about the digestive system in Health. Lastly, we learned about Native American Heritage Month in Library. We had an awesome week!
